Loparex's Medical Papers Officially Certified for Ethylene Oxide, Irradiation and Steam Sterilization Methods
Good news for medical packaging manufacturers who are looking for a new sterilization paper alternative! LOPAWHITE™ Medi - the new paper grade developed by Loparex - was granted the EN 868-6 certificate on April 1, 2008. This official certificate attests that LOPAWHITE Medi complies with the requirements of the standard and the product is suitable for ethylene oxide (EO) and irradiation sterilization processes.
"This is great news for Loparex and our customers", says Loparex Business Director Pertti Romppainen. "Loparex's medical papers are now fully certified: LOPAWHITE Medi with EN 868-6 for ethylene oxide and irradiation sterilization, and LOPAWHITE Medi S with EN 868-3 for steam sterilization. Our medical papers, developed in very close co-operation with major medical packaging manufacturers in Europe, were thoroughly tested during the development process both by our own and external laboratories. We already knew that LOPAWHITE Medi papers meet the requirements of the standards, and now this has been officially certified by the German Reseach Institute ISEGA."
LOPAWHITE Medi is a high-quality MG paper, available in 60-70 gr/m2. It has been developed for sterile packaging: rigid trays with lids, flexible peel pouches, sterilization bags, header bags, FFS and 4SS.
