JOB TITLE: Sales Manager

LOCATION: INDIA

REPORTS TO: Sr. General Manager – Sales & Marketing

PURPOSE: The Sales Manager develops and maintains favorable relationships at all levels of new and existing clients in order to increase revenue. The primary focus is to develop and execute commercial strategies that leverage company assets and value to drive consistent growth in the Label and Hygiene segments.

JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related technical field, or equivalent
  • 3-4 years of results-oriented experience in field sales, specifically in printing, packaging, paper, industrial consumables or related industries.
  • Prefer hands-on experience in marketing, product management, technical or operations roles
  • Self-starter; requires independent planning and allocation of company resources
  • Leadership – Strong influencing skills needed to lead cross functional teams and decision making (both at customer and internally)
  • Job requires ability to manage growth, quality and service initiatives simultaneously

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Achieve targeted sales volumes and market shares
  • Manage revenue and unit realization targets
  • Generate sales leads and business conversion
  • Assist in new business/segment development plans
  • Consistently meet customer needs
  • Optimize customer service and retention
  • Responsible for sustaining and renewing client contracts
  • Report on sales activities and create sales quotations for customers
  • Develop sustainable and profitable sales growth for assigned accounts
  • Internally and externally manage large complex accounts on a day-to-day basis.
  • Focus on communication strategies, training, and issue resolution with customers in the assigned key account(s)
  • Provide guidance to customers on how to get the best value from our products
  • Leverage company assets (with ROI considerations) to drive growth

SECONDARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Resolve, Investigate, and track client and customer concerns and identify the causes of those trends to implement a solution
  • Work closely with support teams to present “one face” to the customer for sales generation, commercial/technical troubleshooting
  • Ensure information access, monitoring and gathering from customer contacts
  • Responsible for reporting and MIS of customers managed
  • Commercial hygiene (AR, Forms)
